The foundation of your business is SO important so that as you grow, you aren’t going back and fixing things that should have been finalized from the start. Adding knowledge and resources to your photography business now will lead you to greater success down the road!!
Mentorships include a pre-session questionnaire for us to get to the root of what assistance you are looking for, a 1 hour in person or online zoom call where we can go over anything and everything, and a follow-up email with additional resources, advice, suggested roadmaps, and more.
I want to help you build a business that is unique to you and your goals. No pre-recorded advice here, I want to work hands on with you and come up with changes together.
The Internship
Every year around March, applications for the internship program are open!
This internship program is for photographers at ANY level, as long as you have a camera, you are good to go. You will learn in-depth knowledge on posing & prompting, directing & shooting, editing, branding & marketing, creating a website, taxes, leveling up your business, booking clients, and more! This internship focuses specifically with seniors and weddings, so interest in those two avenues is recommended. You will have ample opportunities to build your portfolio as well as shadow and grow your confidence, and I cannot wait to see it happen!
This internship is for people 17 and older and applicants must be in the Twin Cities Metro area (I reside in Maple Grove). The internship is mainly unpaid, with the exception of second shooting weddings upon availability. The applicant must have a mode of transportation to get to my residence, as well as photoshoots. This position is ideal for photographers eager to have a hands-on learning experience and aren’t afraid of growth and putting themselves out there!!
This internship will start in mid April and will go until my last wedding of the year. Time commitment is flexible, but my hope is that you will be able to assist some senior shoots, second shoot or assist the majority of my weddings, and have monthly editing/ ask anything hang sessions with the team.
